About UsHere at For Food Smokers we are passionate about outdoor cooking, especially hot food smoking. We have always enjoyed BBQing and experimenting with different marinades to add flavour to the meat. A few years ago a friend introduced us to food smoking and water smoking, so we decided to see if it these new methods came up to our expectations - the rest is history.
There is strong evidence that hot smoking and steaming meat is fast becoming the favoured method of outdoor cooking, this is mainly because the taste cannot be matched. Hot smoking is healthier than grilling (traditional barbecueing), because the meat does not come into direct contact with the fire, this also produces a more succulant and tasty meat. Hot steaming on the other hand, adds flavour and moisture to the meat making it very succulent.
